Fringe Fuel ‘DIY Night’

Fringe Fuel (part of the Fringe Festival in Amsterdam) was planning a “Reality-hacking” masterclass themed around the collapse of financial systems around the world (2012), inviting guests to leave money aside and take action. “DIY Night” was a barter-only event where you could not buy a ticket to attend the workshop; but instead offer services or ideas to barter.

To make this action known, I was approached to design a flyer. To create something noticeable among all the other flyers in pubs and universities, we crafted a credit card lookalike: mocking the worst offenders of the financial system and exposing the truth as it stands from an activist’s point of view: Credit Card organizations are the true pirates of our society.
